Katie has always enjoyed working in a medical practice, and loves that she has found a professional home at Dr. Sam’s Eye Care. One of Katie’s favorite things about working as an optician is seeing how patients express themselves through their eyewear choices. When she’s not in the office, Katie can be found hiking with her dogs, riding horseback, or practicing yoga. And in a nod towards activities that require good vision, she’s also an artist with acrylics and with the camera. Katie’s favorite book is Stephen King’s The Outsider, her favorite movie is The Book Thief, and her favorite thing to see is her dogs playing in nature. Favorite color? Sage green.
