FOR YOUR NEXT VISIT, HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Dr. Sam's Eye Care is up and running. Our primary focus is safety, both for you and our staff. We take this seriously. And we keep smiling. (You can tell even with a mask on.) We hope you'll join us.
You get to enjoy Dr. Sam's Eye Care with the same level of safety befitting any responsible eyecare facility.
Here are further details on our COVID-19 Protocols...
Visits are by appointment only.
We love drop in appointments, too. Right now, that's unwise. To schedule an appointment, even if it's same-day, click here.
Industry-standard hygiene protocols
We have a new sanitizing regimen using medical-grade products, including our nifty new ultraviolet eyeglass sanitizing cabinet.
Your paperwork
If you have text and/or email capability, you'll be receiving instructions ahead of your appointment. Otherwise, we will call you.
Please don't bring friends or family.
We are limiting the number of people in the office. The only exception is for a patient requiring a caretaker.
Please wear a mask.
If you don't have a surgical mask (versus a common fabric mask), we will provide one for you.
Please wash your hands.
When you come into the office, please wash your hands or use hand sanitizer.
When you arrive, come right into the office.
Come right in the front door. We are no longer asking for check-in via cell phone. We will be sharing a COVID-19 questionnaire that discusses symptoms. We'll also be taking your temperature with a touchless thermometer. If any signs or symptoms are present, we'll have to reschedule.
Payment after your visit
If you have digital capability, you can skip the front desk. We will send an invoice via text. If you must pay by cash, check or credit card, stop by the front desk.
Future appointments
If you have to schedule another visit, speak to the receptionist at the front desk. There's now a plexiglass barrier between you and the receptionist.
The optical shop is open on a by-appointment basis.
All services, including picking up your glasses, repairs and adjustments, must be scheduled in advance. Same-day appointments are available. To schedule your appointment, click here.
We are all wearing new gear.
Each of us will be wearing a mask and face shield. Nothing personal. All day long, we are around patients you don't know. This protects you.
Frame selection is now an exclusive, concierge service
When browsing frames, you'll tell the optician which frames you'd like to see. The optician will bring them to you from the display. All frames you try on will be kept out of the display. Once you make a selection, all display frames you handled are sanitized and then returned to the display.
Thanks for playing!
Keeping our offices open to serve you requires also keeping you safe. These times are not "unprecedented." Pandemics have happened before. And there is no such thing as "certain times." Uncertainty is a fact of life. We appreciate your willingness to work with Dr. Sam's Eye Care in reducing the spread of COVID-19 in the great state of New Hampshire and beyond.
