Zayda played violin for six years, and says that the need for quick sightreading gave her new respect for vision care. Her introduction to working with vision as a professional came while serving in the US Navy as a hospital corpsman basic. She has pursued her eyecare career out of a desire to help people of all ages improve their quality of life. Her favorite aspect of working at Dr. Sam's is the level of kindness here. Away from the clinic, she enjoys having fun with her sister, or watching a new science fiction film. She loves beautiful instrumental music and fresh popcorn. She’s not a fan of rude people or olives. Her favorite book is Reduce Me To Love by Joyce Meyer. Her favorite movie is the big and colorful Big Trouble In Little China. Her favorite color is yellow. Zayda’s favorite thing in life to look at is the ocean.
